But let me tell you about my trip to Market Drayton - which was one of a few minis and family shoots of late... Normally a mini-shoot won't cause me to travel so far from Chester, but this was a clever family - they booked it on the back of AirBNB photography (yes I do that too and might even get around to showing you one day!) I love the invitation to get creative... Each new enquiry & each new client starts my neurons firing and my internal ideator spins up to warp speed! This week one of the occasions this happened was speaking with an amateur boxer who requires some black-and-white headshots, portraits and imagery. This led to re-processing some of my previous colour sports shoots into black-and-white. The results speak for themselves I think and are too good not to share at least one of the shoots - this one was shot in a gym in North Wales, UK. Then I thought, why not create a reel from the photographs in DaVinci Resolve? After all, it gives me an excuse to begin mastering a new bit of software I need for the next phase of an ongoing client project... End of a full day! Just received a text this evening to say the family from my most recent winter woodland shoot are due to receive their canvas delivery tomorrow! Obviously can't reveal the main photograph however enjoy this beautiful walking moment with the pause for the water bottle (obviously in our favourite shade of blue!) as we head back to the car at the end of our walk, after fun playing on fallen trees, and even a hot chocolate in the cafe! I love to photograph portraits for my wonderfully creative clients, taking the vision, storyboarding it, selecting location, lighting, props and what ever else is necessary and then turning the idea into solid reality finished in a photographic format.

The more unique or energetic your idea the more exciting I find it to collaborate, and begin to bounce ideas around, and put in the hours of work which see the vision evolve and will take your business, goals, you and your photoshoot to new levels.

My energy and creativity will help to transform your images into something that sings be that making your family portrait come to life, or affirming your business identity to help your audience grow to know and trust you.

While my photography is across the UK helping people to see their vision realised in photographs, predominantly photographing in Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and Northwest England.

When I am not working I love getting out and finding new inspiring locations, pursuing personal projects, studying, self development and meeting friends for tea and cake while discussing our newest brilliant ideas! All of this means that you get better photographs unique to you, a better client experience and that you know I’m thinking it through properly for you!
